Teenagers of 15-16 can't work more than 35 hours a week in school holidays -including a maximum of 8 hours on weekdays and Saturdays and 2 hours on Sundays;
13-14 year olds can only Work 25 hours total.
The National Minimum Wage doesn't apply to school-age children but once you reach 16, you will be entitled to at least £3·68 per hour. Rules also stipulate that children can't work before 7am or after 7pm - or for more than four hours without an hour's break.
Some local authorities have bylaws on conditions, and jobs that children can't do, so do check this out.
If you can't find paid work, than have a think about volunteering as the experience can be used on your CV!
